Krix KX-4010 cinema subwoofer

Cinema stage subwoofer loudspeaker featuring a single 18" bass driver enclosure with large vent areas, which are a feature of Krix subwoofers and are vital for efficient low frequency radiation at high power. The KX-4010 is a high performance, single 18" subwoofer. It has been designed to give maximum SPL down to 28Hz and in such a way to reduce cone excursion in the pass band (above 27Hz). Large peak to peak linear cone excursion and large vent areas, together with the correct enclosure volume and tuning, all have been optimised to give large linear power response at all frequencies. That is, little compression occurs at high levels at very low frequencies. A slim version of this speaker is available with the vents located on the side. The model is KX-4012 - dimensions are 1145mm high, 720mm wide, 380mm deep.

Featuring dual 18" bass drivers in a heavily braced enclosure with large vent areas which are a feature of Krix subwoofers and are vital for efficient radiation at high power. The KX-4610 is a no compromise, high performance dual 18" subwoofer that has been THX* approved. It has been designed to exhibit maximum bass extension to 25Hz and will deliver the very low frequency energy that digital sound tracks demand. Large peak to peak linear cone excursion and large vent areas, together with the correct enclosure volume and tuning, all have been optimised to give large linear power response at all frequencies. That is, little compression occurs at high levels at very low frequencies. A relatively large internal sub baffle is employed around the rear of the vents to further reduce wind noise.
