Krix KX-2610 low frequency
Cinema low frequency screen loudspeaker featuring dual 15 inch
bass drivers in a heavily braced enclosure. This state of the art
loudspeaker system was developed by "reverse engineering" the THX*
cinema loudspeaker requirements. The low frequency driver parameters
and the enclosure were determined from the desired specifications
of a stage loudspeaker as outlined by THX*. This ensured the closest
possible embodiment of the specifications that technology allows
with components specially made for cinema applications. The components
were chosen for their sound quality, long term power handling, low
distortion, reliability and high dynamic range. More importantly,
this system delivers remarkable dynamics and if driven correctly
will handle the most demanding digital sound tracks with ease. There
is also a slim version of this speaker available -- model KX-2612
-- dimensions 1145mm high, 720mm wide, 380mm deep.

Krix KX-3010 high frequency
The KX-3010 is a 500Hz high frequency compression driver and constant
directivity horn. This 2" high quality professional compression
driver features a powerful magnet structure and an integral pure
titanium dome with the suspension attached to a precision lightweight
voice coil made from copper ribbon wound on a high temperature kapton
former. The horn features a 2" throat entry, flat front horn with
constant coverage angles of 90 degrees x 40 degrees and cut off
frequency of 300Hz. It is constructed of heavy duty 7mm thick fibreglass
material. A cast aluminium adaptor is supplied that will accept
the 2" throat diameter compression driver. This model also includes
a steel mounting bracket (as shown) which allows adjustment for
precise high frequency pattern control. The results of these quality
components provides an exceptionally high acoustic power output
over an extremely wide frequency range, with reduced harmonic distortion
and excellent power handling.

Krix KX-3010 high frequency
The KX-3030 is a 500Hz high frequency compression driver with 2"
throat and constant directivity horn. This 2" high quality professional
compression driver features a powerful magnet structure and integral
pure titanium dome with the suspension attached to a precision lightweight
voice coil made from copper ribbon wound on a high temperature kapton
former. The horn features a 2" throat entry, flat front horn with
constant coverage angles of 90 degrees x 40 degrees with a cut off
frequency of 450Hz. It is constructed of non resonant foam with
optimal horizontal and vertical coverage. This model includes steel
mounting brackets (as shown) which allows adjustment for precise
high frequency pattern control. It features an internal pure titanium
dome with the suspension attached to a precision lightweight voice
coil made from flat copper wire wound on a high temperature Kapton
former. This powerful magnet structure provides exceptionally high
acoustic power output over an extremely wide frequency range with
reduced harmonic distortion and excellent power handling capacity.

Krix KX-5460 screen system
Cinema full range stage loudspeaker featuring a single 15 inch
bass driver in a low frequency enclosure (KX-2010) and 2 inch throat
high frequency compression driver with short throw flare and mounting
bracket (KX-3030). This specially engineered driver is a professional
low frequency loudspeaker with a useful upper limit of 2.5kHz. This
model offers superb bass performance, high peak program power handling
and high efficiency, and is therefore capable of extreme sound pressure
levels. The smooth response, wide frequency and dynamic range are
features not often found in one model. The driver has a massive
ferrite magnet structure with engineered components to achieve maximum
efficiency. Symmetrical gap geometry, combined with the large linear
voice coil travel, ensures minimum distortion at all levels. The
driver also features a purpose cast ribbed cone, of specially selected
paper and treatments which produce extreme bass levels. The 2 inch
throat diameter, professional compression driver features a massive
magnet system and an integral pure titanium dome and suspension.
This is attached to a precision lightweight voice coil made from
flat copper wire, wound on a high temperature kapton former. Together,
it provides an exceptionally high acoustic power output over an
extremely wide frequency range, with low harmonic distortion and
excellent power handling. This is especially evident in the third
harmonic, in the critical 1kHz - 3kHz region.

Krix KX-5510 screen system
Cinema full range screen loudspeaker system comprising dual 15"
bass drivers in a low frequency enclosure (KX-2610) and a 2" high
frequency driver with short throw flare and mounting bracket (KX-3030).
The low frequency part of this state of the art loudspeaker system
was developed by "reverse engineering" the THX Cinema loudspeaker
requirements. The low frequency driver parameters and the enclosure
were determined from the desired specifications of a stage loudspeaker
as outlined by THX. This ensured the closest possible embodiment
of the specifications that technology allows with components specially
made for cinema applications. The compression driver features an
exceptionally high acoustic power output over an extremely wide
frequency range with reduced harmonic distortion and excellent power
handling capacity. More importantly, this system delivers remarkable
dynamics and if driven correctly will handle the most demanding
digital sound tracks with ease.

Krix KX-5710 screen system
Cinema full range screen loudspeaker system comprising of a dual
15" bass driver low frequency enclosure (KX-2610) and a 2" high
frequency driver with long throw flare and mounting bracket (KX-3010).
The low frequency part of this state of the art loudspeaker system
was developed by "reverse engineering" the THX* Cinema loudspeaker
requirements. The low frequency driver parameters and the enclosure
were determined from the desired specifications of a stage loudspeaker
as outlined by THX*. This ensured the closest possible embodiment
of the specifications that technology allows with components specially
made for cinema applications. All components including the high
frequency compression driver and flare combination were chosen for
their sound quality, long term power handling, low distortion, reliability
and high dynamic range. The high frequency is designed to be shallow
and to exhibit very low distortion in the critical 3rd harmonic,
especially in the 1kHz to 3kHz region. The benefit of these two
features is that a 300Hz horn and compression driver combination
can be used in a small space behind the screen and due to the distortion
being so low, intelligibility and detail is improved.

Krix KX-5812 screen system
Cinema full range screen loudspeaker, featuring dual 15 inch bass
drivers in the low frequency enclosure (KX-2610) and a 2 inch throat
high frequency driver and 300Hz long throw flare and mounting bracket
(KX-3012). The low frequency portion of this state of the art loudspeaker
system was developed by "reverse engineering" the THX* loudspeaker
requirements for cinema. The low frequency driver parameters and
the enclosure were determined from the desired specifications of
a stage loudspeaker as specified by THX*. This ensured the closest
possible embodiment of the specifications that technology allows.
These components are specially manufactured for cinema applications.
